One Operation Can Change Your Life. LIVE THE LIFE YOU WANT!

MBSAQIP Accredited Center Quality Program seal

Have you tried every diet?  Struggled to lose weight and only gain it back?  Feel like you are trapped in a weight gain cycle?  You are not alone because 32% of Texans are overweight.  Overweight people become resistant to maintaining weight loss achieved by typical methods such as diet, exercise, and expensive commercial weight loss programs.

Obesity is a national epidemic.  It contributes to many health problems, increased medical expenses, and a lower quality of life.  However, there is good news because The National Institutes of Health (NIH) have recognized that bariatric (weight loss) surgery as the most effective treatment to combat obesity and maintain long term weight loss.

WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY CAN CHANGE YOUR HEALTH AND EXTEND YOUR LIFE.

Say goodbye to: type 2 diabetes, heart disease, the risk for stroke, risk of cancer, sleep apnea, and other diseases preventable by weight loss.  You can live the life you want and be: more mobile and active, get out there with your kids, travel, shop at any store, and enjoy all the benefits of a healthy weight.

Are you asking yourself, “Am I a candidate for weight loss surgery?”  Texas Center doctors will partner with you in determining if bariatric surgery is right for you.  Dr. Cribbins assess each patient on an individual basis when determining if they qualify for weight loss surgery and help determine which procedure is best for them.

Dr. Cribbins is a board-certified surgeon that specializes in Ultra Minimally Invasive Da Vinci bariatric surgery and non-surgical weight loss. We believe that excellence in performing surgery and the medical weight management of our patients is derived from: education, training, experience, and treating patients like family.

Texas Center surgeons perform the most current ultra minimally invasive robotic procedures to their patients.

We believe in better bariatrics and better outcomes.   We operate at exceptional hospitals with state of the art operating rooms.   Our operating rooms are equipped with the Da Vinci Xi robot.  The technology on the Da Vinci Xi surgical system allows surgeons to be more precise so we can provide patients with better results, faster recovery, and less scarring.

Minimally invasive surgery allows surgeons to use techniques that limit the size and number of incisions, which lessens pain and scarring for the patient. Minimally invasive surgery also leads too:  fewer complications, a shorter hospital stay, easier recovery, and less time away from work and other daily activities than traditional open surgical procedures do.

Dr. Cribbins has highly trained in Da Vinci robotic surgical procedures and he has used the Da Vinci technology since 2012.   The technology on the Da Vinci robotic surgical system provides the surgeon with 3DHD magnified vision and true depth perception. This allows the surgeon to see beyond the capability of the naked eye. The Da Vinci robot also allows the surgeon an increased precision with a greater range of motion while operating. This translates to even better results for patients and takes minimally invasive surgery to a whole new level.

We also know that surgery is never routine, no matter how many thousands of times we have performed such procedures. We know that you have placed a great deal of confidence in us.  We focus on thorough exams, your current health, perform a complete review of your medical history, and explain expectations for your surgery.   We take the time to listen to our patients and answer any questions before proceeding with surgery.

For our bariatric patients, our hospitals are MBSAQIP accredited centers by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and American Society For Metabolic And Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). The ASMBS awards this MBSAQIP designation to leading centers in the field who provide exceptional patient care, demonstrate superior surgical skills, and have extraordinary hospital facilities. We take tremendous pride in this honor.

We have built a foundation of trust by treating patients like family for over two decades and it is the hallmark of our success.  ALL consultations and follow-up appointments at Texas Center are always with your individual doctor.   Our staff has received comprehensive training and our entire team is dedicated to providing you with the personalized care and compassion you need to make your visits and surgery as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

If you have decided you are ready to take the step towards a reliable and permanent weight loss solution then weight loss surgery is for you. We are committed to changing lives and helping patients live the life they want.  Book your initial consultation to become a candidate for one of the weight loss procedures that Dr. Cribbins performs by calling ‪214-501-1333.
